The Sad Times project uses the sheep as its main character to reflect the idea that many individuals in society can behave like sheep, mindlessly following societal norms and expectations without questioning them.
The creator of the project, Dan Hoban, chose the sheep as the main character as it serves as a metaphor for the human experience in today's world. The sheep character is presented in a humorous manner to illustrate how people often act unconsciously and the project hopes that through this representation, individuals will be able to recognize their own behavior and potentially inspire change.
THE VISION
Our plan is to bring a new take on what digital art can be. To create a global IP that is relatable, cute, and funny but also stops and makes you think. The Sad Times is currently focused on expanding the use of its IP in these major sectors
